The Greater Bridgeport Medical Association (GBMA) will host its annual Physician Awards, Nursing Awards, and Scholarship Awards on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford, located at 337 Kenyon Street. This dynamic evening celebrates and honors distinguished physicians and nurses while also recognizing outstanding high school seniors from Bridgeport who are pursuing future careers in healthcare.

Founded in 1893 by resolution of the Connecticut General Assembly, the Bridgeport Medical Association—now the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association—has a proud legacy of fostering physician fellowship and service to the community. Each year, this signature event reflects GBMA’s commitment to recognizing excellence in medicine and nursing, while investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals through its scholarship program.
