News Alert: GBMA Announces 2026 Irish Awards Breakfast Honorees
The Greater Bridgeport Medical Association is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Irish Awards: Harry Cronin, MD; Charles “Jerry” Hemenway, MD; Maureen Pelletier, RN; and State Representative Kaitlyn Shake, RN. Following last year’s sold-out debut, this inspiring event returns on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:00 AM at The Castle, Black Rock, 3171 Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport, offering a festive start to St. Patrick’s Day weekend while supporting the future of healthcare in our community.
Proceeds fund college scholarships for students at Bassick, Bullard Havens, Central, Central Magnet, and Warren Harding High Schools who are pursuing healthcare careers, while also supporting nursing and physician recognition awards.
